Most natural stones like granite, quartzite, and marble should be sealed to protect against stains and moisture. Soapstone is naturally non-porous and doesn't require sealing. We seal all applicable countertops during installation, and we recommend resealing every 1-2 years depending on use. Quartz and solid surface materials never need sealing.
The typical timeline from template to installation is 2-3 weeks, depending on material availability. The process includes: showroom visit and material selection (1-2 hours), templating appointment (1-2 hours), fabrication (1-2 weeks), and professional installation (4-8 hours). We coordinate each step to ensure a smooth, efficient process.
Our pricing includes the stone material, professional templating, expert fabrication, delivery, and installation. We also include sink cutouts, edge profiles, and sealing (for natural stone).
